How To Choose An Ideal Spy Pen Camera
As we all know that, among thousands of spy camreas, Spy Pen Camera is the most popular and hot gadget so far. If you want to carry out some covert work, you require a camera that will not be noticeable. If you think your spouse is cheating on you and you want to know the fact and video surveillance is the best. There is no doubt that the pen style camera which video and sound will be a great help. Before your purchasing, it’s very important to know some tips on how to choose an ideal spy pen camera. I’ve been purchasing spy gadgets for years and have a few tips would like to share with you.
1. Make Sure You Get A 1280×960 HD Spy Pen Camera
The first point you should keep in mind is that make sure you get a HD spy pen camera. I purchases a recorder a little while ago and didn’t pay attention the camera resolution. It shot at a maximum resolution of 620*480. While this didn’t seem like a big deal at the time, when I went to view the video on my computer screen the video was super small. When I enlarged the screen the picture become pixelated. I regretted not getting a HD version of my pen. So you had better get a 1280*960 HD spy pen camera.
2. Make Sure Whether You Need A Motion Activated Spy Camera or Sound Activated
As the days gone by, there are many new features have been added to the pen camera, such as motion activated and sound activated. When you know you should choose a HD spy pen camera, the next thing you should you is to think carefully, whether you need other features. Normal pen style camera will take video, shot a still photo, recording voice etc. As a matter of fact, the moton activated spy camera is a little expensive than the normal camera. But it works really quite well, and seems more smart. When you open the motion activated button, the pen will begin to take video when it detects some movings. It’s cool and funny.
3. Your recorder has to look, feel and write like a pen
My current spy pen recorder can pass for a normal, evey day pen. It has the look and feel of a real pen. Buying a pen recorder that is too large is a common mistake. You want a recorder that can pass as a traditional pen. If someone picked your pen off your desk you want them to think it is s pen and not your secret recording device. Before purchasing a pen recorder, make sure you’ve seen lots of different pictures and angles of the pen. A size comparison picture is also good.
4. Taking Pictures is a plus, but not necessary
Some pens flaunt high resolution picture taking ability. Don’t be fouled. Taking pictures can be useful, but I found that just setting your pen to record is the best way to get the shots that you really want. If you follow Tip 1 and purchase a 1280*960 spy pen, there should be no need to take pictures.
5. Caution…you get what you pay for
If you don’t care about your video quality, get the the spy pen camera at lowest price you can find. Notice, you should keep in mind that some stores offer items worldwide free shipping, this means that you can save a lot in the shipping fee. So it’s wise to buy items from free shipping stores. If you plan on using your pen more than a few times, spend a little extra money and get a nicer pen. The video quality will be better and the images will be sharper. Think about it. Have you ever bought a super cheap digital camera and wished you spent a little more because you were unhappy with the quality of pictures it produced? The same goes for pen recorders. Spending a few extra dollars with a reputable sources is well worth the money.
